Sincerity Apart Hotel

Stay away from this hotel, no safety at all. There was a big explosion of the main power box.the smoke detector was faulty. The smoke was huge in our rooms at 4.00am ,we were sleeping. No smoke alarm. thank god my son was still awake and woke us up. We run to the balcony shouting and seeking help, there was no sign of the staff, we were stuck in the room for more than 20mn. They even refused to call the fire brigade, so we had to do it. We came back home with a son traumatised and shocked. He developed a hotel phobia. My other child was recording as the staff were painting the walls and ceiling of the reception to hide the incident and then was attacked by the staff and they even threatened him. I hope nobody will go through this nightmare. It's definitely the worst hotel to stay in. Safety is number one and there's none in this place DON'T GO THERE ,DON'T, DON'T Apart from that, it's not for families, very nosy, the swimming pool is opened till 3.00am and very old. My worst holidays. We nearly came back in coffins. Thank god we are back home safe

A bit of a mixed review here. The rooms are old, but clean, and towles/sheets changed regularly. Quite a small apart hotel, including the pool and sunbathing around the pool is limited. The staff are excellent, always looking to get you more drinks/food. My greatest complaint would be the pool table. We had a room above the bar at the front of the hotel. This room also sat above the pool table where we heard nothing but the clashing of pool balls all night and first thing in the morning, (plus the screaming of the players at each other). Might be ok if you get so drunk each evening that not even an earthquake would wake you in the morning, but if you are a moderate drinker and want to sleep later than 9am, then hope you don't get our room! The traffic never stops passing either, and mostly scooters that are knackered and the exhausts have seen better days. Stating the above did not stop us having a good time, but if you relish peace and quiet then this may not be for you. The Food? Overall it was good, however, our first night's dinner, (which we decided to eat here), turned out to be chicken that was not cooked through, so had to be sent back. We did eat here a couple more times and those dinners were lovely, (fish and curry). Cleaner was a lovely lady. Location. Not that far from the beach, 15-20 min walk, which we enjoyed each evening and day. Buses run constantly and stop wherever you wish, just put out your hand. Very cheap to use. Avoid expensive cabs, buses are everywhere there and very cheap. Even a bus back to the airport was only 5 euro each, for an hour and a half trip. The cab is 120 euro! Bus stops right at the airport, and I recommend getting one from the airport upon your arrival. We loved Marmaris BTW.
